DAILEY & ASSOCIATES, Attorney Burns is a native of Brick, New Jersey and a 1998 graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, New Jersey. Attorney Burns earned his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Minor in Criminal Justice from Saint Peter's College in Jersey City, New Jersey. While at Saint Peter's, Attorney Burns was a member of the Criminal Justice Honors Society and President of the Psychology Honors Society.
Having been offered an academic scholarship, Attorney Burns decided to leave New Jersey to attend New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. While at New England School of Law, Attorney Burns made the Dean's List numerous times and had an opportunity to gain experience at Greater Boston Legal Services in Boston, Massachusetts, assisting indigent clients obtain MassHealth and Social Security benefits.
Attorney Burns graduated from New England School of Law in May of 2005 and passed the July 2005 bar exam. From November 2005 through November of 2007, Attorney Burns was an
associate with
Morgan & Murphy working out of New Bedford and Brockton handling a vast array of personal injury, Social Security, and Worker's Compensation cases. Attorney Burns was responsible for handling cases
starting at the claims period through all stages of litigation.
In November of 2008, Attorney Burns joined
DAILEY & ASSOCIATES where he focuses on civil litigation and criminal defense work.
Since joining the firm, Attorney Burns has been working on estate
planning and civil litigation. Attorney Burns successfully
argued an appeal before the Appellate Division of the Massachusetts
District Court. The Decision appears in the July 7, 2008 issue
of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
